This piece is part of the creative process behind GraFFire UV, a limited series of 20 unique works. Artist proofs (A.P.) are manually crafted pieces created during the early stages of the project, used to experiment with color combinations, composition, and technique.
Artist proofs are not rough drafts or throwaway versions.
They are the heart of the process—the moment when everything begins to take shape, when there are no rules or final outcomes yet.
Each A.P. is a genuine exploration, full of mistakes, intuition, and decisions that shaped the final series.
They are rawer, more vivid, more personal. That’s why they carry a stronger emotional and symbolic weight.
Like the rest of the series, this work reacts to blacklight (UV), revealing a second visual dimension through fluorescent paint.
